Alex joined Equity Concepts in 2020 and serves as Director of Research & Portfolio Management. As a 2017 graduate of High Point University with a degree in business administration, Alex quickly discovered his true passion was finance. Before joining Equity Concepts, he built experience in commercial real estate, financial planning, and asset management — giving him a well-rounded perspective and a strong foundation for helping clients pursue financial freedom with confidence. Alex currently holds his Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.
Born and raised in Richmond, Alex attended Collegiate School just minutes from the Equity Concepts office. At High Point University, he earned a spot as a walk-on for the Division I men’s golf team, where he formed lifelong friendships and developed a lasting love for the game.
Outside the office, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife, McKenna, whom he married in 2020, and their two children, Brayden (2023) and Sophie (2026). Whether he’s analyzing markets, hitting the golf course, or chasing after two little ones, Alex brings curiosity, dedication, and enthusiasm to everything he does.
