Sarah was born and raised in Henrico County and graduated from the University of Virginia. She has been in the financial services industry since 2002, to include time with Investment Management of Virginia, LLC and TowneBank. She was the 2023 Honor Graduate at the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management and attended the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
She is an auxiliary member of the Goochland County Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association, serving as Secretary/Treasurer at Manakin-Sabot Company 1. She is also the Parent Teacher Student Organization Hospitality Chair at Hermitage High School and is a frequent Red Cross Blood Donor.
Sarah enjoys spending quality time with her amazing husband, Taliaferro and wonderful children, Jackson and Henley. Her home also includes two rescue mutts, Drew and Camus. She loves dining at her favorite spot, Stella’s, cheering for the Washington Capitals, and enjoying activities on or near the water.
