For more than 30 years, William has focused his career on addressing the underserved needs of accredited investors in the financial services industry—delivering custom alternative‑investment strategies that elevate portfolio design beyond traditional stock‑and‑bond allocations.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Ferris State University and completed the Certified Financial Planning Program through the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business. William currently holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 63, 65, and 99 licenses, as well as life, health, and variable annuity insurance licenses. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.
Outside of his professional work, William is an avid golfer. In 2011, he founded a neighborhood golf league that has since grown into the largest social golf league in Virginia. The league rebranded in 2022 as Unclubbed Golf, reflecting its growth and community impact. His leadership in the golf community earned him an invitation to serve with the Virginia State Golf Association, where he now serves on the Board of Directors and chairs the Membership and Participation Committee.
William and his wife, Amber, have two sons, David and Max. The Saunders family attends Hope Church, where William serves as Co‑Chair of the Hope Church Golf Classic.
