Canon volunteers his time as a board member for the Junior Achievement of Central Virginia, an organization that fosters work readiness, entrepreneurship and personal finance in K-12 classrooms, in hopes of helping students learn to become the best stewards of their own financial resources. As an active member of the Richmond business community and member of the Virginia Council of CEOs, he also connects regularly with other leaders to discuss innovative ideas within the financial industry.
Canon is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in economics. He loves exploring Richmond with his wife, Logan, and their four children: Judson, Ethel, Cary and Willa. Canon is a passionate golfer for anyone looking for a fourth.
